William "Billy" Robert Noel

“Billy” William R. Noel Billy Noel, age 49 of Nokesville, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Tuesday October 8, 2019 after a long struggle with cancer at Fairfax Hospital with his wife by his side. He is preceded in death by his brother Bernie Noel, uncles Paul Horn, Wesley Horn and his granddad Wesley Horn and his nanny Marie Horn. He is remembered with love by his survivors; a beloved husband to Lisa Noel; devoted father of Morgan, Miranda and Marshall; his mother and stepfather, Lynda Horn Jackson and Bobby; his father and stepmother Buddy and Sandy Noel; sisters Christy Newman and husband John and Danyl Penn, and his aunts Marie Mansfield and Karen Monger; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Billy was born on September 29, 1970 in Fauquier. He was raised in the Manassas Virginia area and he graduated from Manassas Park High School in 1989 and married his middle school sweetheart Lisa. They were together for 34 years and married for 20 ½ years. Billy and Lisa were blessed with three children, Morgan, Miranda and Marshall. Billy earned two Associates degrees, while working and raising his children. In 2003 he earned an A.A. in General Studies and 2008 an A.A. in Business Administration both from Northern Virginia Community College. He worked for Fairfax Water holding varies positions for 16 years. He enjoyed his job and especially his co-workers and the friendships he formed at work. Billy treasured spending time with his family and friends. Billy was very proud of his children’s school accomplishments and he enjoyed watching and cheering on his children in their extra-curricular activities. If you were a friend of Billy’s you were a friend for life, he continued to keep in touch with many friends he had made from his childhood. Billy loved his friends, he would try to make you smile and laugh and sometimes he would make you laugh without even trying. Billy would tell his stories, jokes or his famous “Billy” quotes. Billy was friendly, out-going and would speak to everyone and anyone. Billy had a passion for football and loved the Redskins. He also liked the Boston Red Sox and the Washington Nationals. Billy enjoyed his Harley Davidson motorcycle and riding with his buddies. Billy was an animal lover, especially his family dogs. Billy would even hold up traffic and stop the car to save a turtle in the road. Billy loved various kinds of music and found a new love of Christian music. Billy was a man of God and loved to share his story of healing up until he went to be with God. Billy was a caring person, devoted husband and father, friend, hard worker and will be missed by many, until we see you again. Our lives will never be the same. We love you.
