Sam Kincaid

Sam Kincaid, age 61, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Novant Health Prince William Medical Center in Manassas, VA. He was born on July 25, 1955 in Princeton, WV to the late Charles Samuel Kincaid, Sr. and Shirley Ann (Mulheren) Kincaid. Sam (God of Thunder) was a great musician who loved to Rock and Roll, always ready to play, it didn’t matter when or where he was there. He balanced his life between music, sports and the love of his life Janice. He enjoyed camping with family and friends, day trips with Janice, especially when they went to the Flea Markets. Along with music he had a love for sports, cheering for HIS teams, Pittsburgh Steelers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Sam enjoyed watching NASCAR and playing softball. Survivors include his mother: Shirley Ann Kincaid of Manassas, VA; his soul mate for 40 years, Janice Sue Kincaid of Manassas, VA; one daughter: Violet Spears and husband Adam of Hopewell, VA; one brother: Harry Kincaid and wife Melody of Manassas, VA; one sister: Mary “Tankie” Faulk of Manassas, VA; three grandchildren: Paige, Izzy and Joey; nieces and nephews: April Faulk, Rod Faulk and wife Tara; and Jake Kincaid all of Manassas, VA; Tinsley Laurel Strickler and husband Jason of Nokesville, VA, Donna Carneal of Manassas, VA, Gin’e Comer and husband Kevin of Manassas, VA, Michael Carneal of Manassas, VA, Tami Harris and husband Rick of Spotsylvania, VA, Justyna Lawrence and husband Robert of Manassas, VA and Sherri Fields of Spotsylvania, VA; great niece: Samantha K. Faulk of Manassas, VA; great nephew: Alden Strickler of Nokesville, VA; sister-in-law: Pauline Blume of Manassas, VA; brothers-in-laws: Vernon Marshall and wife Wanda of Nokesville, VA and Harvey Fields and wife Pauline of Spotsylvania, VA; music brothers: Gary Rubenstein of Rustberg, VA, Tony Maccini of Stafford, VA, Bob Oster of Spotsylvania, VA, Jeff Campbell of Fredericksburg, VA and Steve Houck of Triangle, VA; music sisters: Lainey Houck of Triangle, VA and Sandy Thomas of Manassas, VA. Sam had requested a HUGE celebration be held when he passes away. The family will be honoring his wishes and will be having a celebration at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to an Animal Shelter of your choice.
