Michelle Anne Waddle

Michelle Waddle, age 45, of Bristow, VA passed away Saturday August 15, 2026 at Prince William Hospital. Michelle was born August 27, 1980 in Silver Spring, Maryland the daughter of the late Maureen (Fraber) Park. As a child Michelle was involved with cheer and dance in Laurel, Maryland while she and Maureen were an inseparable duo. Whether it be playing hooky from school and taking a trip to Sandy Point or just enjoying each other’s company, they were happy and had an unbreakable bond. A move to Virginia brought a new chapter together with the addition of two brothers, Matt and Joe after Maureen met and married Jerry Park. Michelle was the ultimate big sister with a 10+ year age gap between her and the boys. They adored her and she took her responsibilities of being the big sister to heart, helping them through school and lending a hand wherever possible as they grew up. As Michelle began her adulthood she married and began her teaching career in Manassas City Schools. After her first husband passed away Michelle found herself wanting to change careers at 26 years old. It was at this time Michelle found her new career path, first as an admin, but soon after, transitioning to the marketing field; a move that would cement her career for the remainder of her life. March of 2007 brought yet another change to her life, as she met Justin and they began their relationship that would see them married in September of 2008 ahead of the birth of their child Bridget in January 2009. As soon as Bridget was born, Michelle’s focus and intentions became cemented in seeing her daughter grow; Bridget becoming the center of her world. Michelle managed so well the life of having a career and being a mom and wife, never missing opportunities to spend time with those she loved so deeply. Michelle, for good measure also added in graduating with a master’s degree from WVU in Integrated Marketing Communications among her amazing juggling of career and motherhood. As Bridget began to get more involved with dancing at Showcase Dance Studio it brought another milestone opportunity for Michelle to be involved. This time, at the front desk as a welcoming, warm, smiling face for years to come. Michelle helped the studio through a move to their new permanent space, all while juggling her career, but more importantly having the time to watch Bridget continue to grow in her dance journey and be involved with the studio that had become a 2nd home for the entire family. Michelle was able to impact and touch so many lives on this Earth with her infectious smile and positive demeanor. There was never a task she wasn’t willing to lend a hand to. There was also no shortage of projects she shared that she wanted to “get done”; aka…by Justin. She will truly be missed throughout the community that has become home to her and Justin and Bridget Michelle was preceded in death by her mother, Maureen (Fraber) Park; her brother, Joe Park; and first husband David Hedges. Her survivors include her husband, Justin Waddle; daughter, Bridget Waddle; stepfather, Jerry Park; brother, Matt Park and partner Dave Barth; step-brother Justin Park; her aunt, Gerri Tyler; God mother, Valerie Heaberlin; God daughter Graceann Heaberlin and several cousins. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Wednesday August 26th at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday August 28th at 10:30am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. 8213 Linton Hall Road, Gainesville, VA. A reception is to follow the Mass starting at 12:30pm at Windy Knoll Farm, 11602 Kettle Run Road, Nokesville, VA In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations be made to Breakthrough T1D, formerly JDRF.
