Ann Louise Kranich

Ann Louise Ginter Kranich, 85 of Manassas, VA. passed away peacefully on Sunday March 9th, 2025 at Commonwealth Senior Living at Manassas, VA. Ann was born February 6th, 1940 in Shamokin, PA. To Earl and Mildred (Herr) Ginter. She attended Bloomsberg State Teacher College and left in 1960 to accept a position with the FBI in Washington D.C. Ann met her future husband George Thomas Kranich, (a U.S. Army Sergeant) on her first day in Washington D.C. And they were married on May 6th,1961 in Shamokin, PA. George was assigned to the White House Communications Agency before retiring in 1980. This assignment gave Ann the opportunity to attend several White House functions and meet several Presidents. Since George traveled extensively and had long working hours Ann gave him her full support in meeting his heavy work schedule and raised a wonderful family. Ann had many passions; gardening, church assignments, scripture study, cooking, baking, assisting neighbors with tasks, running craft shows, camping and love for her Grandchildren. Ann also loved raising her many pets; dogs, cats, rabbits, and birds. Ann was a firm, but loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother Ann is preceded in death by her Parents; Earl and Mildred Ginter, and Brother Patrick Ginter. Ann is survived by Husband, George T. Kranich, Daughters; Susan Jane Gough & Jodi Ann Kranich, Son; Thomas John (T.J.) Kranich, Son-in-Law; Robert Gough, Daughter-in-Law; Rania Kranich, Grandchildren; Chad Gough, Corey Gough, Amanda Gough, Zachary Kranich, Daniel Kranich, Hanna Kranich, Kristin Davis, and Rachel Davis. A Visitation will be held at Pierce Funeral Home on Wednesday March 19th, 2025 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will take place the following day, Thursday March 20th, 2025 at 10:30 AM. A Graveside to follow the Funeral at Quantico National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would ask that you consider contributing to one of the following charities. Those include Wounded Warrior Project, Tunnel to Towers, Shriners Hospital, and St. Jude Children's Hospital. " Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day.
