Zuhair, age 82, went to be with our Lord at his final resting place on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 Zuhair, known to many as Peter, was an accountant and the first of seven siblings. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. To his family, friends, and colleagues, he was known as kind, gentle, and having a caring, loving soul who wanted nothing but the best for everyone. Zuhair, a devoted Catholic, was a man of faith who spent most of his entire adult life in service to God, family, friends and strangers. Zuhair, an avid sportsman and soccer player during his younger years, made the championship with his team, where he was awarded several trophies. He loved the game and the comradery. His love of the game was unprecedented, so much so that he took time off from work during the last World Cup to follow each team and knew their standings in the series. In June 1979, Zuhair migrated to the US, where he started watching America football. He fell in love with the sport, as his team (formally know as the Washington Redskins) won the Super Bowl in 1983, 1988 and in 1992. Zuhair will be forever loved and remembered. His family appreciates your love, support, and prayers during this difficult time. If you wish to send flowers, please send them to Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center Street, Manassas VA, 20110).
