June 26, 1983 - September 22, 2021
Zachary Noble Mustin, 38, of Haymarket, Virginia, passed away on September 22, 2021. He was born in Mobile, Alabama on June 26, 1983 to William Mustin and Mitchael Flarhety. Zachary attended Hollywood High School where he was on the wrestling team and cross-country team. He completed his Associates Degree at NVCC and continued his studies at George Mason University. The food service industry was his passion for years and he loved the interaction with everyone involved from front to back. He very much enjoyed the people he worked with and those he served. He moved up through that side of the industry to the position of Director of Dining Services and was promoted to Associate Executive Director of Brookdale Senior Living in Lakeridge in the past year. While he loved his work life and all of the people there, he was a gregarious guy with friends, who were more like family, everywhere. He hugged everyone whether they were coming or going and made things fun whenever he was around. He enjoyed doing a lot of things. The highlight of his year was his birthday tubing event. He enjoyed playing pool and shooting darts with friends and the occasional golf outing with his dad and friends. He loved his girlfriend Lindsey and gave her lots of joy and aggravation, like he gave to all of his family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Mitchael Flaherty, father, William Mustin, sister, Reghan Mustin, and two nephews, Gabriel Tompkins and Alex Saint-Paul. A funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Pierce Funeral Home Chapel, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, Virginia 20110. A viewing will precede the funeral from 4:00 PM – 5:00PM.
