Teresia Virginia Alsberry Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Teresia Virginia Alsberry was born to Ruth & George Dearing on February 27th, 1946 in Ammissville, VA. Growing up she attended schooling in Rappahannock County. During her early years she began working at the Aileen Plant located in Flint Hill, VA where she was a seamstress. She met and married James Alsberry then began her career as a daycare provider which lasted over 40 years. Teresia loved cooking, decorating her home, sewing, engaging soap operas, and Cadillacs. Later in retirement she enjoyed a strongly brewed cup of coffee, taking a nice stroll up the street, riding the bus to whatever adventure suits her. She is preceded in death by her husband James Alsberry, brothers Louis Carter, George Washington Dearing Jr (Freddie), William Eugene Dearing (Gene), sisters Mary Dearing, Ellen Louise Coram and adopted son Ronnie Hogan. She is survived by her sister Sarah Virginia Dearing Jones, her daughter Eura Jordan, her son-in-law Thomas Jordan, her nephew Michael Dearing, her nieces Susie Dearing, Stephanie French, and Laura Turner, daughters-in-love Betty Edwards, Bernice Boone, and Sandra Gardner. Grandchildren Abram Jordan, Alonzo Jordan, Avery Jordan, Aeneas Jordan, Amaya Jordan, Ayden Jordan , Kendra Edwards, Veronica Boone, Julian Boone, Sasha Gardner, Demetri Gardner and 10 great grandchildren.
