Mrs Ruby Ellen Payne Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Ruby Ellen Payne was born November 29, 1933 to Edgar Jones and Geneva Wheaton. She had seven brothers and sisters and is survived by Carlton Jones, Frances Bray, Betty Krail, and Louie Trammell. She married Carl Jones Payne, and had seven children, and is survived by six children; Joseph Payne, Barbara McBride, Donna Graber, David Payne Brenda Glover, and Janet Payne. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Ruby was a loving and kind person and will be most fondly remembered as a wonderful mother who taught all her children and grandchildren to sing songs about Jesus to inspire love to all those around her. Sadly, she went to heaven on March 13, 2021 happens to be her own mother's birthday, who she dearly loved. we can be at peace knowing she was greeted in Heaven by her son James Payne, She will be dearly missed by all and always remembered with loving thoughts. Viewing will be at Woodbine Baptist Church, in Manassas on Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM. All that knew and loved her are free to come and pay their respects to her. The Church Ceremony at Woodbine Baptist Church will be Friday, March 19, 2021, at 11:00 AM. There is space available outside of immediate family. Please contact a family member if you would like to attend her church service. For those unable to attend the church service due to seating, are welcome to join us for our final goodbyes outside immediately following the service. Any flowers should be delivered to Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center St., Manassas, VA by 3:00 PM Thursday March 18th.
