Robert Edward Butler Jr

Robert Edward Butler, Jr., aged 74, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at INOVA Fairfax hospital. He was born on October 15, 1946 in Alexandria, VA to the late Robert Edward Butler Sr. and Virginia (Robey) Butler. Robert started working on cars at age 15, served in the Army, and then worked as an auto mechanic for Ford Motor Company until his retirement. He was known for his ability to fix anything, his easy going spirit, and his ever-present sense of humor. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, JoAnn Terry Butler; a son, Robert Edward Butler III of Bristow, VA, his wife Trisha; a daughter, Deborah Bademian of Manassas, VA, her husband David; 5 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. A small private funeral will be held for family. All are welcome to attend a graveside service at Mt. Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria, VA on February 13th, 2021 at 10:00 am."
