Nicole Gnangni, passed away on Sunday, January 17 2021 in a tragic car accident at the crossroads of Routes 234 and Balls Ford. She was returning from work at Sunrise Nursing Home where she has worked the night shifts for the past 16 years. She was just about 5 minutes away from home when she lost control of her car and hit the traffic light ahead of her. Nicole, tenderly called Koffiba Rose was raised in the Ivory Coast She regularly travelled between the Ivory Coast and Ghana to her late parents She attended school in Tiapoum a small town in the south East of Ivory Coast and later moved and resided in Abidjan where she worked for many companies including the prestigious S.I.B a multinational Banking Institution. Our beloved Nicole had a life full of adventures. After a short stay in the Netherlands her journey led her to Virginia in 1994 where her life blossomed. She was extremely dedicated to her career as a nurse and admired by her many colleagues. There was nothing she would not do for anybody . She was an extremely devoted mother, friend and sister who always sacrificed for her family and making sure they were well off.She loved her children and grand children and they were her life. She is survived by her sons Romuald and Serges Prah, her daughters Chantal and Hortense Prah and many grandchildren nephews and nieces. She also had 4 siblings: Sisters Christine Dadie, Niamke Kessey and brothers Ayeba and Pascal Kessey. Known for her unconditional love and contagious smile, Nicole aka Rose Kofiba was a mother figure to many. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her life was taken far too early, there was so much more left for her to achieve and even much more for to receive from her children and family. This loving and kind soul who was called too early by Her Maker will be dearly missed. Until we all meet again Rest in Perfect Peace. We love you and you will always be in our hearts.
