Michael Dennis Page, 31, of Catharpin, Virginia unexpectedly passed away on December 6, 2021. He was born on April 20, 1990 to Bert Garland Page and Debbie Page-Maples Whitenton. Michael graduated from Battlefield High School in 2008, and obtained an Associate’s Degree in Business from Patrick Henry Community College. While working on his business degree, Michael fell in love with welding, which became his career path. Michael obtained multiple welding certifications from NVCC and was currently in the Steamfitters Union #602 as an apprentice. Michael was a loving and caring son, brother, nephew and friend to many. He was also known as a quick, and at times, outrageous wit. He was highly organized and forward-planning in both his personal life and with respect to his career. As a youth, Michael loved skateboarding and the outdoors. He was a frequent hiker. Michael was preceded in death by his older brother, Joseph; his paternal grandfather, Bert Pigge, maternal grandfather, Brewster Eston Pendleton and step father, John (Jack) Maples. He is survived by his father, Bert Garland Page; mother, Debbie Page-Maples Whitenton; step father, Marshall (Mark) Whitenton; brother Thomas (TJ) Maples; paternal grandmother, Ruth Bradley; maternal grandmother, Nannie Ruth Pendleton Lawson; uncle Brewster (Junior) Pendleton (Bonnie ): aunts Teresa Wolfrey (Gary), Diane McNabb (Brian), Beverly Smith (Scott), Cathy Raymond (Gary), and Brenda Pendleton Spencer (Bill); numerous cousins; step sisters, Megan Maples and Ashleigh Maples; and step brothers, Brian Whitenton and John Whitenton. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 13 at the Pierce Funeral Home from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 with Pastor Mandy North officiating. Internment will follow at 12:00 noon at the Stonewall Memory Gardens at 12004 Lee Highway in Prince William County. A buffet lunch will be available starting at 1:00 at the home of the father, Bert Page, 12100 Richland Drive, Catharpin, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Manassas Church of the Brethren at 10047 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA 20110.
