John George Treires

John George Treires passed away unexpectedly on February 2, 2021, in Berlin, Maryland. John was born on August 10, 1956, in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. He is preceded in death by his parents George John Treires and Chrisanthe (Pappas) Treires. He is survived by his daughters Chrissy Grassman and husband Adam; Victoria Harbottle and husband Ty; his cherished grandchild Ajax Grassman; and beloved chocolate lab Louie. John is also survived by his sisters Georgiann Knauer and husband Kenneth of Kennett Square, PA; Diane Georgelis and husband Michael of Lancaster, PA; Joan Giovanis and husband George of Wyomissing, PA; and so many cousins, nieces, and nephews, who all loved John so much. John Treires graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He was a passionate golfer and was a recent member at Glen Riddle Golf Club in Berlin, Maryland. If he wasn't playing golf, he was watching it on TV. John had a great love for sports and enjoyed taking his daughters to the Washington Nationals games and watching football every Sunday. John Treires was a fun-loving, outgoing person. Wherever he would go, he would make a new friend. He enjoyed dancing, traveling, getting together with his best friends, and making everyone laugh. He lived his life to the fullest and cherished all his memories. He will be missed and remembered by all his family and friends. A PRIVATE memorial service will be held at Pierce Funeral Home on Saturday, February 20, at 3pm with options available for virtual attendance.
