Ishamel Hall

Ishamel Hall, 86, of Manassas, Virginia, passed away on February 1, 2022 peacefully at his home. He was born on December 2, 1935 to Ritter (Quillen) and Granvill Hall in Knott County, Kentucky. Ishamel moved from Kentucky to Virginia in 1959 to start working in the construction industry and he retired as a heavy equipment operator. Ishamel enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, music, but most of all he loved his family. He was very musically talented and loved playing his guitar and singing with friends. He had a contagious smile that would light up the room. He lived life to the fullest and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He is loved by all that knew him and he will truly be missed. Ishamel is preceded in death by his parents, Ritter and Granvill; Sisters Beatrice Johnson, Louvenia Tolliver, Ethyl Tolliver, Mero Burchett, and Euretta Bentley; Brothers M.C., C.B., and Tillsman Hall; Son-in-law, Dennis Mullins; and Daughter-in-laws, Rebeca Purdy and Penny Hall. He is survived by his children, Joyce Mullins, Darrel Hall, David Hall, and Ricky Hall (Wife, Vicki); 10 Grandchildren; and 24 Great-Grandchildren. A viewing will be held for Ishamel from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center Street, Manassas, Virginia, 20110). A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 7, 2022, also at Pierce Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 1:00 PM at Ebenezer Cemetery (20421 Airmont Rd, Bluemont, VA 20135).
