Edgar Maynard Fleming, JR, known to most as Ed or Maynard, age 79 died on September 15, 2021. He was born on January 25, 1942, son of the late Virginia Pauline Hill Jackson and Edgar Maynard Fleming, Sr. He worked for Coca Cola for 23.5 years and Branch/Rexel Electric for 20 years retiring in September, 2012. He graduated from Garden High School in Buchanan County and acquired his CDL license. He enjoyed Amateur Radio, belonging to the Ole Virginia Hams Amateur Radio Club (WD4AVU) with close friends Russ, Bob and John. He was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor Eileen Perdue Fleming. He is survived by his three children, Edgar Fleming III and wife BJ, Anthony Fleming and wife Melonee and Teresa Dennis and boyfriend Ronald Dillinger; two brothers Charles Jackson and wife Judy and George Jackson and wife Deena; one sister Ruth Jones and husband Bill; his grandchildren Edgar Fleming IV, Candace Fleming and Zemery Dennis and by one great grandchild Mica McBride. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 7-9 PM at Pierce Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, VA where services will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 12:30 PM. Interment Stonewall Memory Gardens.
