Cynthia Marie Perez Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Cynthia Marie Perez passed away peacefully in her sleep with her sister by her side on July 13th, 2022. Cyndy was physically tiny, but so strong; strong minded and strong willed, and was “wired for sound” as she put it. She was determined and certain in all her actions. Cyndy loved her family fiercely and always put them first. Her daughter never doubted her love for her, and she adored her grandson, Luke. Cyndy was always so proud of her daughter and laughed the hardest at her jokes, thought every photo she took was the best photo because she knew how much her daughter enjoyed capturing moments. She was incredibly proud of her nieces in everything they did and thought they were the best dancers to ever dance. Everything her grandson Luke said and did was perfect in her eyes. She adored them all and was so proud of them. Cyndy was passionate about whatever her latest hobby would be, ranging from classical painting to Egyptology to a massive traditional rose garden with hundreds of varieties of roses to traveling through Italy. Whatever her hobby was she was thoroughly involved in it and her enthusiasm was unmatched. Her love for chocolate was only matched by her love for movies. She also loved playing card games with her family, and she loved to laugh. When Cyndy loved something or someone, she loved it with every fiber of her being. Cyndy taught her daughter a lot, but the biggest thing she taught was to love fiercely and to not be afraid. Cyndy is preceded in death by her mother Marylu, her father Frank, and her brother Chuck. Cyndy is survived by her daughter Angela Demchenko (John), her grandson Luke Demchenko, sister Tina Perez, brother Robert Perez (Donia), sister Rosie Perez, and nieces Alaina and Olivia Rueter. The funeral Mass will be on Thursday, July 21st at 1:30 P.M Holy Trinity Catholic Church 8213 Linton Hall Road Gainesville, VA 20155 Cyndy loved dogs. In lieu of flowers please donate to the ASPCA.
