Barbara Albers

February 16, 1948 - January 9, 2022

With profound sadness we announce the passing of our loving and devoted mother & grandmother, Barbara (Bobbi) Elaine Albers (73). She passed away Sunday, January 9th in Warrenton, VA with her son Brian by her side, after a battle with COVID-19. Born in Pennsylvania, on February 16, 1948, daughter to the late George and Elizabeth (Betty) Taylor. Bobbi was a single mother to 2 boys, loved gardening, reading Danielle Steel novels and visiting Ocean City NJ where she would take long walks on the beach. She had a deep love for animals of all kind and would go out of her way to greet them along her walks. Bobbi retired from Dominion (VEPCO) Energy in Northern VA, after 42 years of dedicated service. She is survived by her brother George Taylor and his wife Betsy, of WA; son John Albers, of FL; son Brian Albers and his wife Lori, along with their 3 children Taylor Albers, Brandon Albers and Luke Albers of Nokesville, VA. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your local Animal Shelter or ASPCA in memory of Bobbi. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff of Poets Walk in Warrenton, for the care and compassion they gave Barbara this last year.
