Wayne Russell Bouchery

Wayne Russell Bouchery, age 57, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 at his home in Woodbridge, VA. He was born on April 22, 1963 in Hollis, New York to James and Mildred (Hixson) Bouchery. When he was sixteen, he moved to Virginia with his family to start Vinyl-Lite Window Factory in Lorton, VA where he worked with his father, Jim Bouchery, his brother, Mike Bouchery, and his nephews, Michael and Matthew Bouchery. As a young adult Wayne was a volunteer firefighter in Stafford, VA. He cherished his friends from the firehouse. He also loved the challenging experiences and being there to support people when they needed him. In Wayne’s free time he was always working on construction or mechanical projects. For example, at his house in Stafford he hand dug out the basement to create a family room. At his home in Woodbridge, he learned to be a blacksmith and built a koi pond with a bridge and waterfall. Wayne was dedicated to his family and friends. Whenever we had a problem, we could count on him for advice and help. He led us all on many fun and exciting adventures. He took us for rides in his antique cars. We went canoeing, camping, hiking, fishing, snorkeling, and boating. He loved to be outdoors especially at night and in crazy weather. We shared many vacations during which Wayne pushed us to try new experiences. He will be greatly missed! But we know that he is in heaven watching over us when he is not too busy sharing crazy adventures with his dad and Jimbo. Wayne’s survivors include his mother, Mildred (Micki) Bouchery, his wife, Ellen Englert Bouchery, his brother, Michael Bouchery, his sister, Jane Bouchery Randazzo, his five children, Sarah Bouchery Monahan, Sean Thomas Bouchery, Rosa Brigid Bouchery, Owen Christopher Bouchery and Anna Grace Bouchery, and his two grandchildren, Layla Ruth Quick and Amelia (Mia) Kate Monahan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 at All Saints Catholic Church, 9300 Stonewall Road, Manassas, VA at 11:30 AM with Rev. Lee Roos officiating. All are welcome to attend. Burial will take place on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Warrenton Cemetery 110 West Lee Street, Warrenton, Fauquier County, Virginia, 20186 at 2:00 PM.
