Sheryl Ann Jenkins

Sheryl Ann Jenkins, beloved Wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, suddenly passed away on May 10th, 2018. Sheryl was born December 19th, 1961, and grew up in Manassas Park, VA. She is survived by her husband Kenny Jenkins, her parents Carol Jean and Aubrey Pettitt (Junior), her Aunt Debbie Mueller, her siblings Sue Pettitt and Steve Pettitt, her three children Brett Jenkins, Chad Jenkins, and Laci Griffith, her son in-law Cody Griffith and daughter in-law Nicole Collins, her grandchildren Isabella Jenkins, Brodie Jenkins, Jaxon Jenkins, Kayleigh Collins, Annah Collins Jenkins, and Easton Griffith. In addition, she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Sheryl will be remembered as the rock to her loved ones. She was a pillar of courage and strength, who freely gave her time, resources and attention to those she loved. People were drawn to her generosity, honesty, and energy. She was the life of the party, who brought fire and love to every conversation and gathering. With a keen eye for fashion, she will be remembered in lots of Harley Davidson apparel and beachy colors. Sheryl’s legacy is marked by the endless love, devotion, and fierce loyalty she had for her family and friends. Her favorite times were spent with her children and grandbabies, taking motorcycle trips with her husband Kenny, and soaking up the sun at her beach house in Myrtle Beach. Sheryl’s love for her grandchildren was unlike any other. They will all remember “Da Mi-Mi” and the fun times spent at Mi-Mi and Pop Pop’s home, and their cherished beach house. It is with a heavy heart we had to say goodbye to our beloved mother, wife, daughter, Mi-Mi, aunt, and friend. Sheryl will be dearly missed, held in our hearts and souls, and never forgotten. Her memory lives on through her family and all the people she has touched with her love, strength, and burning energy. The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 19th, 2018 at Pierce Funeral Home in Manassas, VA with the family receiving friends at 1pm and the service to begin at 3pm. Flowers will be accepted and can be sent to Pierce Funeral Home.
