Robert Frappier

ROBERT LIONEL FRAPPIER, age 84 died on Monday, April 23, 2012 at Greenfield Senior Living in Stafford, Virginia with his loving family by his bedside. He was born on January 23, 1928 in Willimantic, Connecticut to the late Willie and Annette (Ducharme) Frappier. Mr. Frappier retired as a Master Sergeant E8, from the U.S. Army serving all over the world to include California, Japan and Germany. Robert and his beautiful bride Myra moved to Manassas, Virginia from Frankfurt, Germany in 1965 where they became members of All Saints Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus George Brent Council #5322 and a member of Bishop J. Louis Flaherty Assembly #1678. Robert took much pride and joy in his family. He is predeceased by one great granddaughter, Ella Grace. Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years: Myra Frappier; ten children: Robert Douglas Frappier and wife Andrea of Boston, MA, Daniel Frappier of Leesburg, VA, Kenneth Frappier and wife Ruth of Elkton, MD, Suzanne Frappier of Craig, Co, Ronald Frappier of Dallas, TX, Maura Michelle Tutt and husband Anthony of Manassas, VA, Marsha Frappier of Fort Worth, TX, Yvette Sullivan and husband Dennis of Manassas, VA, Yvonne Frappier of Stanley, NC and Charlene Frappier of Manassas, VA; 31 grandchildren: Robert Douglas Frappier II, Dr. Sara Frappier, David Frappier, Christine Garcia and husband, Melissa Hugill and husband Eddie, Julie Frappier, Brittany Pizzano, Nicole Frappier, Natalie Frappier, Joshua Richards and wife Heather, Drew Richards and wife Tami, Felipe Nunez, Jason Frappier, Meagan Frappier, Jennifer Frappier, Justin Tutt, Brianne Chandler and husband Nathian, Isaac Planty, R.J. Franke, Alexandra Sullivan, Alicia Sullivan, D.J. Sullivan, Robert Sullivan, Gabrielle Sullivan, Paul Prince, Allison Holder, Zachary Holder, Annie Wahlmeier, Michelle Wahlmeier, Robert Wahlmeier and Thomas Wahlmeier and 13 great grandchildren: Trevor, Myah, Noah, Eli, Kendall, Connor, Arianna, Alexis, Ninja, Isabelle, Israel, Dante and one on the way in September. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, Virginia where a prayer service, chalice service and eulogy will be said. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 10:30 AM at All Saints Catholic Church, 9300 Stonewall Road, Manassas, VA with Rev. Robert C. Cilinski officiating. Interment will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Arlington National Cemetery with military honors. A reception will follow the Mass at the Knights of Columbus Hall. In lieu of flowers memorials to All Saints Catholic Church Building Fund.
