Richard Anthony Stubbs

Richard Anthony Stubbs also known as “Man” departed this life at the age of 42 on February 21, 2026, at Winchester Medical Center. Richard was born on November 25, 1983, in Manassas, Virginia to Audrey Stubbs and the late Richard Henry Bushrod (Robin) at Prince William Hospital. Richard attended Stonewall Jackson High, now known as Unity Reed High and lived in Winchester, Virginia. Richard was someone who would give you the shirt off his back if he could. Always had a laugh or joke for you and boy did he love his Cowboys and Dragon Ball Z. There was never a dull moment with Man. He befriended anyone and everyone and would stop and talk to a stranger for hours about any and everything. He Loved his family especially his mom. He would reach out to anyone for $5. Man was always dancing no matter where he was. He also loved to walk and Family dollar was his favorite store. Richard is survived by his three cherished children: Anthony Maxwell Stubbs, Shaun Nathaniel Stubbs and Jade Saniyah Stubbs. His formal spouse Ebony Stubbs. His girlfriend Samantha Perry and her son Warren Lee Kritzer (Bugz), to whom he loved as his own. He is also survived by 1 brother, Cristian Stubbs. Richard is also remembered by his aunts: Barbara Stubbs, Muriel Stubbs, Thelma Stubbs, Marilyn Bushrod Isom, and Ethel Bushrod. His Uncles: Rodney Stubbs, Michael Bushrod, Thomas Bushrod, and Alvin Bushrod. He leaves to mourn his two Nieces: Andrea Ibarra (David) and Wynter Lewis. His Five nephews; Cowen Stubbs, Devon Stubbs, Romeo Abellera, Sincere Franklin and William Lewis Jr. A great niece, Delilah Ibarra. His grandmother Rosie Bushrod, whom he cherished deeply. Good friends whom he loved like brothers; Radee Fedd, Marlon Marshall, Andrew Thornton, William Lewis and Corey Wilson. His love for many shown in the ways he appreciated the little things. He also leaves to mourn many cousins, friends and his close family he worked with at Cellofoam. Richard enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved his family and friends and will be missed by many. Whether you met Richard for the first time or over the years, he left a lasting impression that will be hard to replace. Through he is no longer with us, his spirit, his laugh, his dancing and his memory will live on forever. Richard was proceeded in death by his father, Richard Henry Bushrod, Jr. and his Beloved sister Robin Michelle Stubbs. His grandfather’s, Max Beare Stubbs, Sr and Richard Henry Bushrod, Sr. His grandmother, Audrey Virginia Stubbs and his uncle Maylon Hollard.
