Pamela Denise Brawner

Pamela Denise Brawner, daughter of Fletcher and Lenora Lynch, was born on October 8, 1963 and departed this life peacefully on November 3, 2022 at the age of 59. Pam was born in Washington, DC and was educated in the Washington DC public school system. She attended Petworth Elementary, McFarland Junior High, Roosevelt High School (class of 1981) and Howard University. Pam was married at the age of 20 and had various employment throughout her career, but ultimately had a career as a customer service representative at Capital One. She had one son, Michael Jr, and one daughter Kimberly (with her former husband Michael Brawner), and 2 grandsons Jace and Christopher. Pam became disabled from Multiple Sclerosis in the final years of her life, where she was a resident of Regency Care of Arlington. For many years, her family marched in the WALK MS event in honor of her life. She never complained and always had a smile on her face. ‘Thank God’, ‘WOW’ and ‘I Love You’ were a few of her favorite sayings. She was an inspiration to all who met her. Pam is survived by her parents Fletcher and Lenora Lynch of Hollister, NC, sisters, Galene Reese of Altadena, California and Sharon Willis of Raleigh, NC, son Michael Everett Brawner, Jr and daughter Kimberly Renae Brawner of Manassas, Virginia, 2 grandsons Jace A. Brawner and Christopher L. Strong of Manassas, Virginia, lifelong best friend Tia Brooks Major of Odenton, Md, friend Rickey A. Derricott of Meriden, Connecticut, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Pam will be remembered for her courageous strength, love of family, sweet spirit and beautiful smile. She understood that life was a wonderful adventure and did it all from beginning to end with God by her side. A memorial service for Pam will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 1:00pm at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, 1389 Richardson Rd, Warrenton, NC 27589. Cards or memorial gifts to the family of Pamela Brawner, can be sent to 10631 Winfield Loop, Manassas, VA 20109.
