Linda Anne Bocchichio

Linda Anne Bocchichio, 59, loving mother of three sons, and adoring life partner to Michael, passed away encircled by love in the morning hours of July 26, 2025. Linda was born October 22, 1965, and a proud native New Yorker who grew up surrounded by her large Italian family. Linda was greatly influenced by her native New York roots and carried her love of family traditions throughout her entire life. She was proud of her vibrant heritage. Although Virginia was her home for many years, from her childhood forward she had a special place in her heart for her hometown of Long Island, her family and Italian cooking. Family dinners were some of her favorite memories. The aroma of her father’s Sunday cooking (gravy and meatballs) brought her joy and comfort. She cherished family gatherings around the table, filled with laughter and lively conversations. Beyond her devotion to her family, Linda was ever steadfast in the Catholic faith, and she met the love of her life while working at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Clifton, VA. In her free time, she found particular delight in taking Michael to attend teas around the Northern Virginia area. She especially loved to attend teas at Washington’s Mt. Vernon and The Tea Car in Berryville, VA, where she savored her favorite scones. One of her most cherished activities was taking strolls on the Boardwalk in Ocean City, MD to visit the pier where Michael placed a “lock of love” engraved “Linda and Michael”. While back home, spending time swimming in her backyard with Michael and her sons was a simple pleasure she looked forward to each summer. She was an avid lover of New York sports teams, and baseball in particular, and cherished attending local games with her boys. She was there on the sidelines cheering or supporting her children when they were involved in any school activities. She had a passion and entrepreneurial spirit for home-based selling projects like Longaberger, Pampered Chef and Stamp-it-Up. She loved celebrating holidays, but Christmas was her absolute favorite time of year and she treasured the festivities. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Ann Bocchichio, who was her best friend and closest companion. We are comforted to know that Linda is now among the angels alongside her mother Carol, her Grandparents, Aunts and Cousins, all of whom she absolutely adored. Heaven has received another angel. Linda is survived and missed by her life partner Michael Fallin; her children John, Vincent and Patrick James; her father and step-mother, Anthony and Margaret Bocchichio; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Andy Holt, nieces Ashley and Heather Holt and a host of other close relatives and dear friends. Linda was affectionately known as a quiet soul and shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth is marked by love, compassion and unwavering faith. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends and many more whose lives were touched by her. We ask that you remember her not for the way her life ended way too early, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
