&#55356;� In Loving Memory of Erika Joy Fisher February 27, 1978 – July 22, 2025 Erika Joy Fisher, age 47, passed away on July 22, 2025. Born in Fairfax, Virginia on February 27, 1978, Erika grew up in Dale City, where she filled her early years with music, movement, and joy. A talented violinist, devoted cheerleader, and accomplished gymnast, she embraced life with both grace and determination. Erika served her community with unwavering dedication as a Deputy Clerk of the Court for Prince William County in Manassas, Virginia, where her professionalism, sharp attention to detail, and tireless work ethic earned the admiration of colleagues and all who worked with her. She was known for her loyalty, tenacity, and compassion—a person who never talked down to others, but always made them feel heard, seen, and valued. Outside of her work, Erika was a gifted painter and a passionate concertgoer. Her love for animals guided her volunteer work with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) and the Humane Society, where she found joy in giving voice to those who could not speak for themselves. Though Erika faced serious medical challenges, she met each one with quiet strength and courage. She never gave up. Her perseverance was matched only by her kindness and gentle heart. To know Erika was to witness a life of dignity, resilience, and deep love. She is survived by her devoted mother, Sonja Fisher; her loving brother, Robert Fisher; sister-in-law, Donna Fisher; nephew, Anthony Fisher (Tony) and his wife Ashley Fisher; niece, Ashley Cole (Nikki) and her husband Lance Cole; and her beloved great-nephew, Rowen Conner Cole; and preceded in death by her hero and father Robert Lawrence Fisher.
