Elyse Michelle Robinson

It comes with heavy hearts and overwhelming sadness to announce that Elyse Michelle Robinson, a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece , cousin and friend lost her battle with brain cancer on May 7, 2024. She was surrounded by her father Daniel, grandmother Karin (Kiki), Daniel’s sister Heather and her beloved toy Duchess at her side. Elyse has impacted so many lives in her brief 10 years. She fought longer, harder and stronger than anyone we know trying to beat the “Evil Wizard “ in her head (a term we used to describe her cancer when she was first diagnosed at the age of 4 1/2). She withstood many brain surgery’s and unending trial drugs in the attempt to rid her of the Wizard. A child with a beautiful, radiant smile that anyone who knew her would remember forever. She loved her family, friends and pets. Brightening the Art Room at the Childrens Hospital with her smile and light making an imprint on all lives that met her. There are no words that are adequate enough to express what a beautiful, loving, caring child that she was. Elyse was born in Warrenton, Virginia on May 27, 2013 and lived in Nokesville for the last 9 years with her father Daniel and grandmother Kiki. She attended The Merit School for preschool for 2 yrs and The Nokesville School from Kindergarten through just shy of completing the 4th grade. Her dream was to be in Gymnastics and Cheerleading. She is preceded in death by her Grandfather John Russell Robinson and her Aunt Lee Tracy Robinson (Star). She is survived by her father Daniel Russell Robinson and her Grandmother Karin Robinson whom deeply loved, raised and cherished her. Elyse’s Aunt Heather (Anthony), cousins Braxton and Sutton also lived with her. Her father’s brothers Michael (Marlies, ELORA and Nico), David (Melissa and Amelia) and Matthew (Abigail). With more extended family and friends that will miss her greatly. She is also preceded in death by her Uncle Joshua Quillen. She was greatly loved and adored by her Mother Ashley Elliott (Jason), half brother Luke , Grandmother Lisa Quillen (Shannon), Grandfather Tim Foco (Tanya), Uncles James and Jacob Quillen. With more extended family and friends that will also miss her greatly. Daniel and her grandmother Karin wish to thank Childrens National Hospitals Neuro/Oncology team for their guidance and care of Elyse over the last 6 1/2 years. Elyse will continue to help other children with their battles against brain cancer through organ donation research. Please in lieu of flowers donate to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
