Donald Otis Wyant

Donald Otis Wyant of Broad Run, Virginia went to be with the Lord on January 7, 2025, at the age of 74. Donald was born on June 27, 1950, and is the son of the late Lonnie and Evelyn Wyant. Throughout his life, he touched countless hearts with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. Donald was the best husband, father, and papa anyone could have asked for. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Belinda Wyant, children; Angela Hatchel, Donald Wyant, Kimberly (Anthony) Long, Brian Garner, Brandon Garner, and Katie (Curt) Crouch, grandchildren; TJ, Brittney, Taylor, Hunter, and Christopher Hatchel, Chelsie (Justin) Finney, Brent and Conner Wyant, Tiffany (Jonathan) Doerr , Kyle, Gabriel, Bryson, and Oliva Long, Celeste (Nick) Sabo, Elijah and Cohen Garner, Drake, Colette, Kayla and Dakota Crouch and 7 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Robert (Lois) Wyant, Howard Wyant, Ralph Wyant and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Miriam Gray. Donald's love for his family extended to his role as a papa, where he was a source of joy, wisdom, and warmth to his grandchildren. His caring nature and willingness to help everyone around him made him a beloved figure in the lives of all who knew him. Donald had a great love for farming, working on projects at the Church, and helping friends and family. His hands were never idle, whether building church buildings, helping neighbors, or offering his expertise to those in need. His commitment to hard work, coupled with his generous spirit, made him a true pillar in the Church of God and of his community. Donald will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His love for his family, his selflessness, and his dedication to his work will forever be remembered and never forgotten. He leaves behind a lasting impact on the lives he touched, and his legacy will continue to bring comfort to those who were fortunate enough to have known him. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, January 14th, from 6-9pm at the Manassas Church of God, 8823 Rixlew Lane, Manassas, VA 20109. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, January 15th at 10:30am at Manassas Church of God. Interment will follow at Brightview Cemetery.
