Diane Theresa Robinson

Diane Teresa Robinson, 56, of Fort Washington, Maryland, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025, surrounded by her devoted family. Born on December 9, 1968, in Manassas, Virginia, she was the cherished daughter of Terence and Linda Robinson. From an early age, Diane nurtured a profound passion for animals and gardening, cultivating a lifelong dedication to the care and preservation of living creatures. She was a steadfast advocate for animal rescue and renowned for her tender practice of salvaging discounted plants from the Lowe's garden center, reviving them with her gentle expertise. Diane frequently demonstrated the ability to be an extraordinary confidante and pillar of support, the kind of friend who had an uncanny knack for sensing when life was throwing its curveballs. Without fanfare or hesitation, she'd materialize at your doorstep—armed with a listening ear, a comforting hug, or whatever small gesture turned the tide—reminding you that true camaraderie isn't about grand gestures, but about those quiet, unwavering acts of showing up exactly when the world feels a little too heavy to carry alone. A graduate of Osborn High School, Class of 1986, Diane forged a fulfilling professional path as a dental administrator and in pet care services, where her compassion and meticulous organization left an indelible mark on colleagues and clients. She further distinguished herself as an accomplished pet photographer, crafting exquisite images that immortalized the distinctive personalities and exuberance of cherished companions. Importantly, Diane accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior, embracing a faith that illuminated her days with hope, compassion, and unwavering devotion. Diane held her family in the highest regard, particularly her beloved nieces, nephews, grandniece, and grandnephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, Terence and Linda Robinson, in 2022. She is survived by her sister, Patricia "Tricia" Schryer, and Tricia's husband, Gerald; their children, Ashten and her husband, Troy; and Austen, and Ashten's children, Arabella and Jackson; her brother, Terence "Robbie" Robinson, Jr., and his wife, Jade; Robbie's children, Jenna and Chase; a wide circle of cousins in the U.S. and Canada; many dear friends whose lives she profoundly enriched; and her faithful companion, Jolene. A memorial service celebrating Diane's life will be held at Pierce Funeral Home, in Manassas, Virginia on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Minister Sheila Newman, In His Image Christian Ministries. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Diane's memory are welcomed to the Last chance Animal rescue at 8500 Bensville Rd, Waldorf, MD, 20601, (301-274-9409)—an organization she supported passionately through her commitment to animal welfare. Diane illuminated the lives of all who knew her, bequeathing a legacy of benevolence and delight that we will treasure eternally. Though deeply mourned, she endures in our hearts forever
