Ryan Patrick Fox FOX Ryan Patrick Fox was born on April 10, 1984 in Morgantown, WV and unexpectedly passed away peacefully at his home in Bristow, VA on Monday, July 29, 2024 at the young age of 40. To his friends he was only known as FOX. He graduated from Osbourn City High School, Manassas VA in 2002 where he played baseball, tennis and hockey. His hockey skills were initially developed on the ponds of Clarkston, MI but were a bit unrefined for organized hockey. During his 1st year playing organized hockey, the penalty box became renamed the “FOX BOX” until he fine-tuned his skating and hitting skills. He was an avid sports fan and followed the local teams, especially, the Washington Capitals with great passion. He became actively engaged in golf where he learned the fine art of caddying at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club (RTJ) in Gainesville, VA. He worked as a caddie for over 20 years training new caddies while also developing a reputation for excellence for those golfers fortunate to walk the fairways of RTJ with him. His caddying skills were unparalleled at RTJ. His clients appreciated his ability to keep them focused on the game while they enjoyed their round “FOX style”. He was a friend to all, known for his huge, kind heart, party hearty lifestyle and his uncanny trivia knowledge, specializing in random movie quotes. He had a quick-witted personality that was always guaranteed to put a smile on your face. Fox loved his family and everyone that met him was immediately part of his family. A close friend said that “Fox was the glue that kept our epic group of friends coming around.” Those who know him would definitely agree. Fox is survived by his parents, Bob and Peggy Fox, his sister Meghan Fox McPherson, his niece Abby McPherson, nephew Lucas McPherson and a plethora of aunts/ uncles/cousins located throughout the country and his ever-loving canine couch companion Jackson. Family and Friends may convene at the Pierce Funeral Home 9609 Center Street, Manassas VA 20110 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday August 4, 2024. A Funeral Mass will be held at All Saints Catholic Church located at 9300 Stonewall Rd, Manassas, VA 20110 on Monday August 5, 2024 at 10:00 am with a reception to follow at the George Brent Council Knights of Columbus Hall at 9290 Stonewall Rd, Manassas, VA 20110.
