Leona Millie Hart

Leona Millie Hart passed away on January 4, 2024 at 4 and ¾ years old (those ¾ are a big deal to 4 year olds!). She was at home, at peace, and in her bed with her parents when she passed. Leona spent a beautiful final two weeks surrounded by her family and friends who showered her with love, strength, courage, and affection. She was born on March 12, 2019 in Fairfax, Virginia to her parents Desiree Hart and Patrick “Dan” Hart. Leona lived in Gainesville, VA with her mommy, daddy, and two little brothers, Caden and Damian, along with her pup Fia and kitty Cali. She was the best big sister and endured the boys’ fierce love with patience and appreciation. Leona was born with an undiagnosed disorder that caused low muscle tone along with other symptoms. Although she was limited in her physical abilities, she worked hard to overcome so many obstacles. Her condition caused severe regressions after each illness, and no matter what, she strove to get stronger. This little lioness endured so much and kept on smiling. Leona’s life is a testament to happiness and love above all else. With each look and smile she gifted pure happiness and love and in return she was showered with happiness and love by everyone who crossed her path. Leona is survived by her parents Desiree and Dan Hart, her brothers Caden and Damian Hart; her grandparents Jim and Terry Hart and Carlos and Sarah Pichardo; her aunts Kathryn Russo, Devina Hart, Sarah Pichardo, and Krithika Pichardo; her uncles Carlos Pichardo, Ken Hart, Ryan Hart, Dave Russo, and Adam Rosen; and her beloved cousins Amara Pichardo, Alaya Pichardo, Nico Pichardo, Owen Russo, Henry Russo, Arin Hart, Ezra Hart, and Naomi Rosen; and countless extended family and friends who have been her rock, who have been there through thick and thin and given her encouragement and endless love. She will be missed beyond belief. Please be considerate and reserve the parking in our driveway for those who need it most and drop-offs. For everyone else, please park across the street at the horse farm, 7675 Cerro Gordo Road, Gainesville, VA 20155. There will be signs to help direct you.
